Girl Bitten by Wolf
OTTAWA — The parents of a 2½-year-old Ladd girl bitten by a wolf at Grand Bear Lodge have sued the Utica resort and the producers of the touring animal show.
Tom and Rhonda Giachetto filed an eight-count lawsuit Thursday in La Salle County Circuit Court on behalf of their daughter, Abianne Giachetto. The plaintiffs seek at least $50,000 for damages under the counts against Grand Bear Lodge and Amazing Animal Productions of Devore Heights, Calif.
Abianne suffered bite wounds April 4 when a giant malamute wolf (the description contained in the lawsuit) attacked her during an animal show at Grand Bear Lodge in Utica.
